"All-inclusive under $1,500 per person" is the most-searched phrase that brings people to this site. So I did something I should have done sooner: I went and checked what that money actually buys right now — not last year, not "starting at" fantasy rates, but real packages with flights, verified the last week of September 2026.
Ten of them came in under budget. Every price below is per person, based on double occupancy, and includes roundtrip flights from the cities listed. I also noted the travel dates each price was attached to, because that's the part most deal sites leave out — and it's the part that determines whether the price is real for you.
Prices move daily and reprice at checkout — that's just how travel works. What I verified: these starting rates were live in the last week of September 2026 for the dates shown. Book 6–8 weeks out for the best shot at them, and always read the cancellation policy before you pay. I've seen too many people lose deposits to policies they never read.
Five hundred and ninety-nine dollars. Four nights, all-inclusive, with roundtrip flights from Miami. I double-checked this one because it sounded like a typo — it isn't. Big, lively resort on Bavaro Beach, all meals and drinks included. Flying from New York, Chicago, Cleveland, or DC? Add $99. Boston, add $119. Dallas or Austin, add $189. Extra nights run $89 each if four isn't enough.
Good for: anyone whose main question is "how cheap can this actually get?" This is the answer.

Cleveland $689, Chicago $719, Atlanta $779, Dallas $839, Miami $849. Three nights is short, but the package extends to a full week. If you want a quiet, grown-up trip without kids cannonballing next to your lounger, this is the one.
Good for: couples who'd rather pay a little more per night for zero kids and better food.

This rate comes through a limited sale with a booking window closing October 1, so this one has a real deadline. If you're reading this after that, check the live price — Riu runs these sales often.
Good for: people who want the resort and a real town to wander through.

Jamaica in January is about as good as weather gets anywhere — mid-80s, low rain, and you dodge the spring break crowds entirely. At $803 with a nonstop flight folded in, this is the Jamaica move I'd make with my own money.
Good for: winter escapers who are done with gray skies by late January.

One honest caveat: the resort name wasn't listed in the deal I found — that's the tradeoff with opaque 5-star packages. The star rating and inclusions were confirmed. If knowing the name matters more to you than the price, the Riu Bambu below is the transparent pick.
Good for: bargain hunters who care about stars and price more than the brand name.

At $899 all-inclusive, it's the cheapest entry into the Secrets brand I've seen this year. Same deal window as the Riu Playacar above: the sale booking period ends October 1.
Good for: couples who want the luxury-brand feel without the luxury-brand price.

If you've only done Mobay, the west end of the island is worth the drive. Riu Palace is the step-up tier from standard Riu, so the food and rooms run a notch nicer.
Good for: repeat Jamaica visitors ready to see the island's better beach.

And if the Bambu sells out, its sister resorts were right behind it: Riu Palace Punta Cana $993, Riu Palace Bavaro $1,057, Riu Palace Macao (adults-only) $1,085 — all late-October departures. Riu's Punta Cana complex is basically a small city. You will not run out of pools.
Good for: anyone who wants to know exactly where they're sleeping before they pay.

Early December is my favorite Caribbean window — the weather's settled, the holiday crowds haven't arrived yet, and prices haven't caught on. Seven full nights, and you're still under a grand.
Good for: anyone who wants the whole week, not a long weekend stretched thin.

One honest flag: at this price tier it's room plus airfare, not full all-inclusive board, so budget for food separately. Even so, Atlantis under $1,150 with flights is rare enough to make the list.
Good for: families where the resort is the destination.

No screenshots from 2024, no "starting at" numbers from a banner ad. Each rate above was live in the last week of September 2026 on a bookable site — TravelByJen, TravelZoo, Funjet, Expedia, USVacationDeals, CheapCaribbean, or a current limited sale. I listed the travel dates attached to each price because a $599 rate for October doesn't help you in February.
Three things to know before you click: prices are per person based on double occupancy, they're tied to specific departure cities and dates, and they reprice at checkout. The "Check Live Prices" buttons take you to live search results for that destination so you can confirm your exact dates. That's more honest than pretending a September price is guaranteed in December.
